If you are a traveler, be careful when you eat at this Vietnamese restaurant. My table's waitress added tip without letting me know in advance. I demanded the receipt (for reimbursement by my company). Then, after printing it, with a pen she wrote tip on the receipt, saying that paying tip is required!!! (Of course, my company did not reimburse the hand-written tip. Even, I had to explain my boss why there was a hand-written part in the receipt.) Germany is not like USA: You don't tip servers generally. Even if you do so, you decide the tip, not the waitress. Food is just average, and overpriced, too. My suggestion is: Do not go there. In the mall, there are many decent places to eat. Just avoid Thi Minh.
Very tasty Vietnamese food. Very nice service. We felt completely at ease. The price is appropriate to the quality and location.
Food was good, the price was okay.
We were very excited. Tasted very authentic, at least to us as laypeople. Especially the tofu dishes, which I am always very skeptical about, were very tasty. I can only recommend.
I really enjoyed the soup and the spring rolls. The flavor was great, tasty but at the same not heavy and absolutely healthy. The price was honest in my opinion, maybe not the cheapest that you can find but still acceptable. The atmosphere was nice and the staff nice, they helped us in choosing those tasty dishes.
Very, very tasty.
Simply very tasty and a very friendly and courteous service! Wouldn't that be the case with the Riem Arcaden ?!
The food was ok, we had the pho soup, we expected the broth to be more flavourfull, instead it had a weak flavour.
First time I tried the food over there, it is must beleiven me. Presentation and hospitality is at its finest. Food tastes also very good. If you are there do definitely give a visit.
For me one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Munich. Great food. Very friendly staff. Absolute recommendation!
Good Vietnamese food in the Riem Arcaden. You can go in here. And eat outside.
The very BEST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT in Munich!!! And most probably on of the best ones in the world. And the service is soooo friendly and extremely customer oriented. Lovely place. The lunch deal is awesome. My favourite dishes are M3 and the MIXED ENTY PLATE (for 2Persons, you can also eat it alone as the main course...it is soooo delicious) Der beste Vietnamese in München ☀️?????
Very tasty food and extremely friendly service. The complaint of a dish (beef tasted a bit strange) was handled in a highly professional and friendly manner. Plus the best spring rolls we have ever eaten in Munich.
Super friendly - great! Great food!!! Not the cheapest, but worth every penny. We always like to eat here.
Nice and courteous service. Great selection of drinks and dishes?
The restaurant is very close to Munich Messe (the exhibition center in Munich), so it is very much requested during the fairs. If you really want to catch a meal, I suggest you book at least one day in advance, as the restaurant is full of eyes, especially in the evening, after the exhibition closes. The interior is nice, the waiters are friendly and quite elegant, I can advise you on the menu. A restaurant suitable for a dinner in two (but do not expect separations, candles and quiet), especially for group meals. The food, if you like Asian, is OK.
Excellent presented dishes. Everything is very exceptional and of good quality. Even if there is a lot of activity, the food is still elegantly arranged and definitely worth the money!
Really good food! Just the waiters service was a bit not coordinated, we order an entry and two cocktails and then the main plate...They brought everything together. Experience could have been nicer. Food was delish, tho
Good service, good food
Really good food. Service friendly. And we didn't have to wait a long time ? again
Bad and rude servers. Did not want to take my payment in change claiming they don't take that small of change. Really? Food was decent but not authentic.
The dishes are so tasty!!!
get a more expensive menu though I live in Munich for years, perhaps because I don't have a European face??? The price doesn't match the food. Pho tastes not good, and I need to add salt and chilli sauce from the counter by myself, while I saw the other table with the same Pho was served with that. Finally, I paid service fee 2 euro per person with an extra tips. Never go there again.
Good value for money. Had a beer and beef red curry. Will not say it was one of the best, but worth the price. Friendly staff. They made an attempt to understand English and tried to help.
Friendly people. The ambience is fair. Quantity was sufficient and served in an authentic looking porcelain bowl. The food however was quite deviated from Vietnamese cuisine. Quite overpriced for the service.
High Quality Fresh food, beautifully prepared.
The food is just great. Surprisingly when you see the location. Highly recommended
A bit expensive but regularly offers a decent Oriental taste versus the usual German restaurant bland food.
Food is good but so expensive.....
Spring rolls were good.
Not bad food although I would expect better quality for the price I pay. Service is also okay
Great food
We were excited. First-rate attentive service. Very friendly and the ladies always reacted the same when we gave a signal at a glance. The food was delicious and the portions neat. Again any time. Price performance is also right. Is not a quick snack !!!
The food is good, but a bit pricey.
Ordered a Vietnamese Pork Noodle Bowl. Overpriced. 15.9 euro for a small size and normal bowl that you can order with 6.9 euro in other ordinary asian bar in Munich
The Food was nice and tasty, only the waitress was a little bit unpolite. When we went inside they where standing off site and didn't seem to be caring. After we walked to them and talked with them and said that we have a reservation with a Groupon but hadn't print it (only App Voucher), it was a struggle for them but after discussing it was ok when we send it with email.
It was delicious, but the prices ..... well
Food was ok but not amazing. The red chicken curry was nice but not very traditional. The have hot and sour prawn soup was just a tasteless broth The staff was attentive and the waiting time was reasonable. The atmosphere was actually nice.
Pretty average restaurant. A bit expensive for the service they provide.
It is more expensive than the quality. Compulsory service costs but receive worst service. How it can get 4 stars?
It's my first review in google. The staffs were very very unpolite. In addition, service fee was added in bill, but they didn't deserve it. If time travel is possible, I never visit this place ever.
1h to be served, 30min in the line just to pay... Waitress overwelmed. Not the right choice.
Food would probably have been nice if they didn't bring mine only after 1.5 h after complaining three times and after everybody who entered, ordered their food after me already had gotten, eaten their food and already left again. As I "only" had approx. 2h time I had to eat as fast as possible. Very bad organization.
I have tried many Pho-Bo in different parts of the world and this one was not aromatic at all. It was a simple broth with noodles and beef, it lacked the specific smell and taste. The service was very good and the place is well decorated and taken care of. The spring rolls we ordered as a starter were OK too
Westernised Vietnamese on the expensive side for a shopping mall, but nice. Waiters look really tired.
Food is spicy without any pre-notice. Kalmar is unchewable. Waiters are slow - we waited ca. 40 min just to get to the order. Score of 4.1 is a fraudulent one.
Different price menu for foreigner, low quality. Never come back
Very nice appealing restaurant. Excellent authentic Vietnamese food. Super nice staff.
This place is disgusting. They are discriminating people. Some people get grey lunch menu, where some people get more expensive blue menu. The price difference is about 5-10EUR for each menu.
The place can be pretty crowded around trade fairs. The food is excellent, clearly prepared from fresh, high-end ingredients. I eat there once a week, and I am really surprised to see how many reviewers say the staff is unfriendly. The restaurant has different prices/menues for lunch and dinner, hence you may think you are "overcharged" if you show up for lunch after 14:00. The only complaint I have is they no longer make mango sticky rice desert ;)
